All of the things that happen to you on The Path can be called an adventure. You start on this journey trying to get to the light, the golden kingdom where all the beauty, the splendor, and the riches are––or whatever else makes you excited about going there. You're on this journey, and on your way, all these things come up to make the trip quite interesting. Sometimes a little scary, sometimes a little funny. But, always interesting. It's very much like a fairy tale. What do you think of fairy tales? We want you to think about your journey on the path as being like a fairy tale.
Now, we know this seems a bit strange, especially when you look at your life the way you see and believe it to be; it is most certainly not a fairy tale at this particular point in time. We will say to you that, basically, your life is what you believe it is. So, if you wanted to think about the possibility that going on this journey on The Path is an adventure or a fairy tale, could you buy into it?
We would ask you to consider the possibility that what you believe shapes what your reality is in the world. What you see going on in your life has to do with what you think should be going on. What you feel your life is like gets translated into what you experience. There's a direct relationship between the two; as a matter of fact, there is no separation between them.
The reason we bring this up is that we want you to start thinking--and we say 'thinking' because that's where it's going to hit you first––about what your beliefs are. You're contemplating going on this journey, this fairy tale, to learn about loving yourself, supporting yourself, seeing your power, and getting a different perspective on yourself. One of the things that will serve you well is to understand what you believe. Start taking a look at what you believe in, and think about whether your beliefs support who you are––or who you ought to be? And what is the difference between the two?
Your beliefs are those things that govern your life. Can you believe that you can create what you want in your life? Can you believe that you can love yourself? The Path is a journey into the light––the light of truth, the light of possibility, the light of Love. It is up to you to do the work to get there to see it. You're worth it. You're worth all the work. You're worth all the letting go it takes to see yourself as the rich, colorful, wondrous, fantastic expression of Love that you indeed are.
